Food Venture Sweden is an opportunity for the food industry to get to know exciting startups with brave ideas. And this year we increase your chances to meet and to do business with them.
In a collaboration with Ignite Sweden, Food Venture Sweden invites you to a set of matchmaking meetings with a broad range of startups, both in and outside of your own branch, with focus on future commercial collaborations. The purpose of these meetings, tailored upon your needs, is to match you with the right startups that can help you solve some of the challenges your company is facing.
The goal is mutual development projects with those you wish to collaborate with - from a paid pilot project where you test their solution to the development of a completely new product or service together.
After you have registered to Food Venture Sweden and marked the box “Ignite matchmaking”, one of Ignite's key account managers will contact you to book a needs assessment. The assessment is crucial to define which are your comapny's needs and challenges so Ignite can scout startups all over Sweden according to your interests. On the first day of the event, you will be able to meet up to 7 startups in pre-booked, 20-minutes meetings.
On the afternoon of day 1, there will be an interesting program on stage, focusing on businesses and investment regarding startups, established industry and investors. In the evening you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition of the startups and mingle with the rest of the participants.
On day 2, the startups will pitch their businesses for investments, and in the afternoon there will be time for pre-booked meetings when you in the industry and the investors have opportunities to one-2-one-meetings with startups.
Ignite
Sweden is a national initiative with the mission to establish tighter bonds between Sweden's vibrant startup scene and the country's thriving, large companies. Since the start in 2017, the program has matched 500+ startups with 153 corporates in more than 2800 tailored matchmaking meetings, resulting in 100+ commecial collaborations. Ignite Sweden is led by THINGS, STING, LEAD, MINC and Uminova in collaboration with SISP. Ignite is co-funded by Vinnova, Energimyndigheten and Tillväxtverket.
